Porsche - 911 S Targa "Silver Anniversary" - 1975
On its 25th anniversary, Porsche began production of a special edition of the 911 at the end of 1974. All together 1063 Silver Anniversary edition cars were built, all of them were finished in Diamond Silver color (936 paint code) , blue tweed interior, and carry a Ferry Porsche Signature Plaque on glove box. Only few 2. 7 Targa 25th Anniversary models were produced. They were all made in Diamond Silver color with a lot of added equipment.
This Silver Anniversary model has been completely renovated in 2019:
- Engine (complete new seals, new main – crankshaft bearings, new camshaft bearings, new piston rings, and the bearings on the oil pump, new oil nozzles, cables and distributor, overhauled heads of engine and valves, …)
- Chassis (welding and complete new outside repaint, complete overhauled bottom of the car together with renewed shock absorbers and steering)
- Brakes (brake calipers were rebuilt with new seals, new brake lanes, new brake pads)
- New paint (Diamond Silver color, 936 paint code
- Interior (new interior with original materials has been done)
In 2022 we overhauled transmission, new clutch, new original headlights (EU version – Hella) , complete new exhaust system, both heat exchangers left + right, new muffler (JP Dansk) and both bumpers (EU version) . All in all we put on the car between 7. 000 and 8. 000 EUR last winter and 13. 000 EUR in 2019.
Car is in very nice condition. Obtained antique certificate (National FIVA Authority) and original Porsche certificate from 3. 8. 2021.
The car is located and registered in Slovenia. It is recommended to view the vehicle prior to placing a bid in order to avoid any disappointment. Please contact Catawiki to arrange an appointment.
