Porsche 912 from 1968 (VIN: 12801502) produced in October from 1967, in excellent condition. It was manufactured from 1965 to 1969 as a cheaper version of its elder sister 911, of which the 912 retained the coupé body (and from 1966 also Targa) and the entire mechanics, apart from the engine, a 4-cylinder air-cooled boxer with a displacement of 1584 cm³ and 90 hp of the last Porsche 356 SC, which makes it easier to drive and economical in consumption and maintenance. This car was originally sold in 1967 in the USA and imported into Spain in 2015, where it was completely disassembled and restored. Rebuilt engine (#108XXXX, no matching number) , like new and still running-in, with less than 1000 km. Flawless interior restored in black leather (originally red) . The car body is British green (original colour: 6804) . Original factory accessories: Fuchs rims, 5-speed manual transmission (902/02 type) , equipped with 5 instruments. Odometer reading of 52,000 miles, not verifiable. This car drives and shifts perfectly. Technical inspection valid until May 2024. With Spanish historic number plates (road tax-free, reduced insurance, technical inspection every 4 years) . Purchased from a collector, after the restoration this car was used for less than 1,000 km and kept in a closed private garage, under a protective car cover.
