Porsche - 944 - 1983

The first generation Porsche 944 was introduced in 1982. It came with the 2. 5L four inline engine with 8 valves. The 944 was available with either a manual gearbox (5 gears) or with an automatic gearbox. The engine of the 944 is based on one half of the V8 from the Porsche 928. The Porsche 944 was based on the 924, there are many changes and improvements mainly to the exterior, such as a galvanised body with extended wheel arches and a rear spoiler. The galvanised bodywork is the biggest improvement point, so the body does not rust. This Porsche 944 is from model year 1983, which means it is a 944 type 1. This 944 was repainted in the original colour Indischrod (LM3A) . It has original 15” Porsche Cookie Cutters wheels with good tyres. The interior is in good and neat condition consistent with its age. The interior has sports seats (option code 409, sports seats, leather) , also called Turbo seats. These seats were a rare option in a Porsche 944, they were mainly delivered in the Porsche 930 Turbo. It has a black leather interior. This Porsche 944 has some options such as, sports seats, removable Targa top, electric windows, electric mirror adjustment, fog light. The entire distribution system with water pump was recently replaced as well as a minor service and replacing the spark plugs, invoice available for € 2,000. This 944 has an original maintenance book with original sticker and many invoices from Porsche dealers and specialists since 2001. A note has been made on the Dutch periodic vehicle inspection about an oil leak. The car can be viewed and picked up in Hengelo, the Netherlands.
