Beautiful portrait of Emperor Trajan made in Greek White Marble. A column drum in African Marble acts as a pedestal for the sculpture which was probably placed on a bust in the past given the flare at the base of the neck. The features are powerful and elegant, the hair is beautiful and refined. The look is intense and conveys confidence and power. The neck is bullish and has a lack on the nape.
