This late 19th century (circa 1870's) engraving shows a bust view of Washington surrounded by architectural related opening with eagle capstone at upper portion. Engraving is of an image of a painting by Rembrandt Peale and engraved by Adam B. Walter. Engraving is framed and measures 21" x 16" (sight) with frame measuring 32.5" x 27.5". Image exhibits extremely light toning line.
