Ford ascended the Presidency in the immediate aftermath of his predecessor Richard Nixon's resignation in light of the Watergate Scandal. Ford served from 1974 until 1977, when he was defeated in the 1976 election by Jimmy Carter. This lot measures approximately 11 in x 14 in.
