Condition Report:
The canvas is lined and is stable on its stretcher. The painting presents a lovely image overall, and the colors are relatively vibrant. There is a thin pattern of craquelure visible across the paint surface, but this is stable, and there is some thinness here and there throughout. Inspection under UV reveals some fine strokes of retouching to some of the craquelure. There are some spots of retouching scattered here and there at the edges and in the background. There are a few fine spots in her hat and one in her arm, and there are some additional fine scattered cosmetic strokes in the shadows of her costume. An old false signature to Boucher at lower left also fluoresces under UV. Painting can hang in its present condition. Offered in a decorative giltwood frame.
