**Post War Pre-1954 FN High Power in Box

9mm Para. 4.7" barrel length. SN: 54249. Re-blued metal finish with polished barrel mounting checkered walnut grips with fixed front blade and drift adjustable rear notch sights. Short recoil operated single action autoloading pistol fed by detachable double stack magazines. Left slide is marked FABRIQUE NATIONALE D'ARMES DE GUERRE/HERSTAL BELGIQUE/BROWNING'S PATENT DEPOSE followed by weak Belgian firing proofs. Further weak proof marks visible on the left frame with the proofs and caliber marking to the breech face remaining crisp. Serial numbers match on the frame, barrel, and slide. Interior surfaces of the grips are painted red. Item comes in a maroon cardboard box without labels and an unsigned magazine.

Arms, Armor & Militaria Good as Re-blued. Bore is dirty with some firing residues that should clean to Very Bright or better with sharp rifling. Re-blued finish shows some light edgewear to the forward frame and slide, some flecks to the finish on the right slide below the ejection port. and some brown flecking down the backstrap. Further flecks to the rear slide around the rear sight and on flanks. Reassembly scratch to the left slide. Grips retain strong checkering with some small chips along the edges. Magazine shows some light insertion wear. Cardboard box shows some splits to all corners with side flaps to lid torn off.
