A Faenza faience wet drug jar, Ferniani workshop, circa 1770
Of bulbous form on a flared foot, with a short spout and rope-twist handle, painted with a continuous landscape with a broken column flanked by two birds perched on trees beneath the spout and on the reverse, each side with a flower bouquet in an urn, a floral border with trellis panels below the rim, the handle and spout embellished with flowers, 26cm high (one chip to footrim)
