Potiche for the export market of the East India Company, late 18th century.

Restored neck and lid.
Measures: 24 x 10 cm.
Chinese vase dated to the end of the 18th century. With a circular base, it has marked shoulders that give rise to a narrow neck, in turn finished in a completely detachable lid with a large overhang. It is delicately polychromed: on a vegetal background decorated with floral motifs, cartouches are depicted on a pure white background. The cartouches depict courtly figures engaged in outdoor activities.
