“Charlottenborg” is a posthumous redesign of Poul Henningsens four-shade lamps - which he designed back in the 1920s - and got its name from being designed for the 1979 renovation of the art institution Charlottenborgs café in Copenhagen. The smaller version with the same name, was designed for Musikhuset Aarhus in 1984. Source: “Light years ahead”
