A pair of late 19th century French Louis XVI style cassolettes. Onyx bodies and covers with Gilded Bronze mounts. Each features a turned cover with Bronze foliate finial on a turned vasiform body with Bronze foliate band, Satyr mask handles and floral swags, turned stem and squared bases with Bronze beaded detail and masked paw feet. Minor wear, some surface wear on Bronze, one cover with small glued repair. Each 18 3/4" high. ESTIMATE $1,000-2,000
