Pr GEORGE NAKASHIMA American Walnut Dining Chairs. This item will come with a copy of the original order card from Nakashima Studios from 1961. Originally for four chairs lots 720 and 721. Bowed backrests with spindle construction. Note: This item and all the George Nakashima items from lot 695 though 742 were acquired from the estate of Katherine Mezger. Katherine was employed by the Nakashima studios in the 1960's through 1969. All the pieces in her collection were acquired directly from the workshop during her years there and resided in her home until Uniques and Antiques was selected to sell her collection in mid 2021.
