Pair of mahogany architectural form bookcases having closed pediments supported by ebonized columns with brass capitals and bases, adjustable shelves and rising on a conformingbase, now on a later ebonized finished two-drawer base, one fitted with a small sliding platform and file cabinets in the base. Marked to the back. Approx. h. overall 106"; bookcase h. 82", w. 44.25", d. 18.35"; base h. 24", w. 48", d. 20".
