A good pair 1930's Period Robert Irwin Furniture Co. "Royal" line consoles in the Italian Renaissance Revival style. Select Grade Black Walnut construction with burl panels and exotic wood inlays, extensive hand carved swag and Acanthus leaf detail. Both with a single long dovetailed drawer over two doors with inlaid marquetry floral panels (one opens to reveal three long drawers and the other with three linen shelves) flanked columnar legs, and concave end panels with carved vase and flower medallions.
