American. 1900s. Wood with tin lithographed sign. A wooden display cabinet featuring The Pratts Stock Food Company. Pratts began in 1870. This cabinet pre-dates The Pure Food and Drug Act of 1906 which banned the use of "cure" in advertising. The tin panel in this cabinet is one of a few known variations. Marked, "Pratt Food Co. Philadelphia, PA.", on front door. 33" x 17" x 7.5".
Condition Report: A very good original example. Retains original surface and stenciled script on the upper and lower door. The tin lithograph panel is original with excellent colour. Minor creases, oxidation.
