Pre-64 Winchester Model 70 Standard Weight Bolt Action Rifle in 270 W.C.F.
Made by Winchester Repeating Arms according to serial number in 1946. Gun has 24" blued Winchester Proof Steel marked barrel with correct stippled ramp front sight and 22G rear sight with standard address markings with caliber marked "270 W.C.F". Barrel is marked on underside " 270-41" meaning 1941 production. Correct black oxide sandblasted bluing with correct cartridge slot and Non-factory drilled rear receiver with cloverleaf tang. Correct matching serialized bolt with Tilden three position safety. Blued hinged detachable steel floorplate with serrated trigger. Walnut 18 line per inch checkered low comb stock with oval grip, steel checkered buttplate and factory bow sling swivels. LOP: 13-3/4". CALIBER/GA: 270. S/N: 52243. FFL: Curio & Relic.

90% original blue with edges starting to wear to a silvery patina. Bolt showing handling wear. Wood has sharp checkering with 90% + original varnish with small handling dings. Rear bridge shows non-factory drilled plugged and tapped scope holes. Excellent bore and mechanics.
