Collection of 4 pre-Civil War Virginia coat buttons including: 1.) Virginia coat button Albert's VA5A. Button is backmarked "YOUNG. SMITH & CO/NEW YORK". Button is silvered, in very good condition and retains a small portion of it's silvering. 2.) Virginia coat button Albert's VA7A2. Button is backmarked "SCOVILL MFG CO/WATERBURY". Button in good condition. 3.) Virginia coat button Albert's VA7A3. Button is backmarked "SCHUYLER H. G./NEW YORK". Button in fine condition retaining much of it's gilt. 4.) Virginia coat button Albert's VA9A2. Button is backmarked "WM H. SMITH & CO/NEW YORK" . Button is silvered, in good condition and retains some of it's silvering. Provenance: Eugene T.
