Pre-Columbian. Chimu Ceramic Rare Catfish Vessel - With Spanish Import License Vessel

A wonderful and very rare redware stirrup vessel featuring as a large headed, coiled catfish, with a small monkey at the handle. Incised decoration on the base. 14th - 15th century AD. The piece includes german export license.

Dimensions: 21,00 x 21,00 x 17,00 cm.

Condition: Fissure at the handle base repaired, otherwise intact. Rare in red.

Provenance: Ex Gorny & Mosch. Ex southern German private collection U. H. ; ex Eysank collection from Marienfels, Austria, 1970s; in Germany since 2011.

Notes:
- The piece includes authenticity certificate. The piece includes spanish export license ( Passport for European Union) .
- If the piece goes outside the European Union a new export license will
be requested by us, This process can take beteen 1 and 2 months.
According to Spanish legislation, items sent outside the European Union
