Pre-Columbian. Paracas Rare Ceramic Head Vessel - With Spanish Export License and TL Test

A very rare Paracas pottery vessel in the form of a human head. Oval form with opening in the mouth area, showing small teeth, lips in relief. Prominent segmented horn in the forehead. Green concentric circles over black background on the upper hair area an base. Small incised circles as the beard. Large black iris on white sclera. Includes thermoluminescence certificate and X-Ray. | Paracas. Peru. 4th-2nd Century BC.

Dimensions: 18,00 x 21,50 cm.

Condition: Earthen deposits inside. Surface wear and some minor scratches. Restoration over fracture line on the horn. Small repaints throughout the piece. Fine condition

Provenance: Ex A. A Private Collection - Asturias, Spain. Through inheritance from his father R. A.

Important: Due to summer holiday season, our gallery will be closed in august so this item will be delivered in september.

Notes:
The Ministry of Culture from Spain asks all sellers for invoices or other documentation able to prove the legality of each item before providing an import or export license.
- The piece includes authenticity certificate. The piece is in process of obtaining
Spanish Export License ( Passport for European Union) . This process can take between 2 and 4 weeks.
- If the piece goes outside the European Union a new export license will
be requested by us, This process can take beteen 1 and 2 months.
According to Spanish legislation, items sent outside the European Union
are subject to export taxes and will be added to the invoice, at the
buyer's expense. These export fees are fixed on the final auction price
and the tax rate is not applied directly on the total value of the item
to be exported, but rather the different percentages by sections are
applied to it:
- Up to 6,000 euros: 5%. / From 6. 001 to 60. 000 euros: 10%.
- Shipped with Insurance.
