Pre-Columbian Taino Shell Pendant
A Taino shell mask pendant (guaiza). The pendant features characteristic Ta?no iconography, including wide, circular concentric eyes, an angular nose, and heavily emphasized facial geometries. Drilled biconical suspension holes along the upper margin, allowing it to be hung around the neck as a pectoral pendant or attached to an elaborate headband. 6" x 4".
