In: Disturnell's railroad, steamboat, and telegraph book; being a guide through the United states and Canada: also giving the ocean steam packet arrangements, telegraph lines and charges; list of hotels, &c. With a map of the United States and Canada, showing all the canals, railroads, &c. New York, January, 1851. 12mo, 108 p. cuts, tables. Gray embossed gilt-stamped cloth, all edges gilt. Cover title: 'Disturnell's Railroad, Steamboat & Telegraph book 1851 with a map.' For some strange reason this has not been mentioned as yet in any map guide. Not in Phillips. Professionally rebacked, map laid down on japan. Feint stamps of the Mercantile Library, New York with notation that it was presented by the compiler.
