Princess Diana's Worn Catherine Walker Pinstripe Jacket

[ translate ]

Princess Diana's fine wool pinstripe jacket made by Catherine Walker, one of her favorite designers, worn on October 28, 1992, when the princess as patron of the National AIDS Trust opened a conference at the Commonwealth Institute in Kensington High Street. After that the jacket was worn in various combinations over the next two years, both for formal occasions and private events, including restaurant visits and shopping trips, for which she paired the jacket casually with jeans. The Princess of Wales chose the jacket again for an official engagement on April 6, 1993, to visit the West Yorkshire Playhouse in Leeds. Condition report: The sleeves were professionally shortened little as they did not fit the second owner. Very good vintage Condition.
