Prison Made Horsehair Bridle
An all-black braided and hitched horsehair bridle, oval cheeks, double round brow and horsehead domed glass rosettes. The knots and throat latch are hitched as are the buttons. Nice original reins with the matching tassels and unique twisted knots. The top of each element of the headstall has been wrapped in leather, (perhaps a repair or reinforcement?). The bit is an August Buermann "Daisy" pattern with a cut-out half breed.
