Pristine Second Print BG-75 The Doors and The Yardbirds Poster

The BG-75 is one of our favorite posters from The Fillmore. The design is by Bonnie MacLean and the featured bands include The Doors and The Yardbirds. The Doors and The Yardbirds performed three days each, and Richie Havens and James Cotton played all six shows. This poster was printed several different times, and this is the second print poster on matte stock with the Neal, Stratford & Kerr printing credit omitted. In Eric King’s guide, he lists this as BG-75-RP-3, which would usually indicate that it was from the third printing, but King makes the notation that this predates the RP-2 version. The reason for this confusion is that this printing was long thought to be an original pre-show printing, and the designation was changed after the original numbering system was implemented. Like many posters in this sale, this is the sole highest grade given by CGC to this poster.
