with associated 18th century Chinese pottery blue and white water pot, an engraved brass inkwell, an engraved silver inkwell, Iran, early 19th century, the large rectangular box with sliding lid and gold and turquoise grip, removable pen tray with bone brackets and separate compartment for inkwells, exterior surfaces with a finely painted design of stylised peony blossoms in gold on black ground surrounded by saaz leaves, the inside of the lid and tray with a sparser design of gold medallions and arabesques, the lid with gold and turquoise grip,
