Property from an Important Private Collection Khawaja ‘Abdullah Shihab al-Din Murvarid Kirmani (d.1566-67), Munsha’at, signed al-Munshi, Safavid Persia, first half 16th century, Persian manuscript on light pink paper, 115 leaves plus 3 fly-leaves, 7 lines to the page written in black shikasteh ta’liq, ruled in blue, important words in red, in brown leather binding with gilt stamped medallions and spandrels, text panel 14.5 x 7.4cm.; 21.8 x 13cm. Condition report: In overall good condition, with various stains and rubbing, some later notes, a replacement folio, minor damages to the binding, as viewed.
