Protector Co Vulcanized Weld Mask

A American hand-held welding shield manufactured by the Protector Co. The mask body is constructed of heavy-duty black vulcanized fiberboard with a riveted design. It features a rectangular metal viewing frame secured with rivets and a single glass lens. The handle is a molded black composite material attached to the base of the shield with a metal plate and rivets. On the upper center of the front surface, there is an embossed mark reading PROTECTOR CO. Above this text is a line of characters that are not legible due to surface wear. The interior shows a similar black finish and the reverse side of the riveted hardware.
