Splendid vase with portrait of Friedrich Wilhelm III. on pedestal : KPM Berlin, around 1840 Model 1686: ''Russian vase'', on square base round base with disc mode (here made of wood) and cup-shaped swinging out dome with bent out rim (made of porcelain); Wall with cobalt blue background and ornamental hangings, in a gold framed rectangle reserve finely painted portrait of the Prussian king after the painting by Frank Krueger (1797-1857), the wooden parts in identical blue colouring and with faux marbre optic. Stand and corpus made of wood and probably later on, walls of porcelain. H. to cup base 142 cm, H. of the chalice 30 cm, D. 52 cm. - Hugh restorations at the rim. // Prunkvase mit Portrait Friedrich Wilhelm III. auf Postament : KPM Berlin, um 1840 : Modell 1686: "Russische Vase", auf quadratischem Sockel runder Fuss mit Scheibennodus (hier aus Holz) und kelchfoermig ausschwingende Kuppa mit ausbiegendem Rand (aus Porzellan); Wandung mit kobaltblauem Fond und ornamentaler Behangornamentik, in goldgerahmter Reckteckreserve fein farbig gemaltes Bildnis des preussischen Koenigs nach dem Gemaelde von Frank Krueger (1797-1857), die Holzteile in identischer blauer Farbgebung und mit Faux-Marbre-Optik. Stand und Korpusansatz aus Holz spaeter, Wandung aus Porzellan. H. bis Kuppaansatz 142 cm, H. des Kelchs 30 cm, D. 52 cm. - Unter dem Rand grossflaechig restauriert. - Provenienz: aus Berliner Privatsammlung.
