QAJAR DYNASTY PERSIAN SHAMSHIR SWORD
Persian Shamshir Sword. Mid Qajar Dynasty work, the steel hilt with lobate pommel and guard of characteristic form displaying curled quillon with monster-head terminals, engraved with floral design. Slightly curved with dual fuller blade with Perso-Arabic script and portraits of Shah Abbas engraved on both sides. No scabbard. Blade Length: 32" Total Length: 37.3/8"
