Chinese Qing Dynasty Period, Qianlong porcelain zong vase. Potted in thick, squared body, with circle opening mouth and base, raised on shallow foot. Essentially tubes with a square cross-section and a circular hole, having rib molded corners in form of a traditional hair pin along the sides stacked as modules, one atop another. The celadon Jade has a lustrous tone, with pale-celadon iridescent and attractive sporadic brown red russet inclusions, exquisite and detail, porous body. The shape of the zong with its square and circular shape could be interpreted as 'the unity of heaven and earth' where the square represents the earth and a circle represents the heaven. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant glaze finish that was applied by a meticulous, the shape is uniformly proportioned.

Mark on under base, a six red seal script characters reign mark, Qianlong Reign Period of Great Qing Dynasty.
