Chinese Qing Dynasty Blue and White Porcelain Brush Holder. Potted in thick, cylindrical body, straight body, close round lip, raised with round flat foot base. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white base color which contrast against blue fine color, depicted of elder bargain to hunter man on the field surround with flying Fu Bats, flowers bloom and dense tree. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant glaze finish that was applied by a meticulous, the shape is uniformly proportioned.The underside unglazed, revealed the pale-creme ground revealed and dark greyish brown spotted firing marks and edge-cut foot rim.
