Chinese Qing Dynasty Qianlong Famille Jaune Dragon Lotus Porcelain Double Ear Zun Vase. Potted in a Zun shaped vase, thick and large, a drum abdomen, a pair of decorative handles called ears flanked on short cylindrical neck, and raised on round foot base slight concave. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in yellow base color which contrast against famille rose design color, depicted of imperial five claws dragon flying careening through lotus flowers blooms interspersed foliage and scrolling interlocking tendril, with face toward the heavens. The colors are harmonious, elegant and exquisite, the composition is sophisticated, simply a feast for the eye.The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark. Made in The Years QianLong Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
