Chinese Qing Dynasty Qianlong Red Glazed Porcelain Plum Vase. Potted into a traditional Meiping form, large, thick and tall, drum body heavy on shoulder, short neck with round mouth lip, raised on ring foot base slight concave. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white base color which contrast against red color, depicted of archaic big carp on the mid body. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant glaze finish that was applied by a meticulous, the shape is uniformly proportioned.The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark, enclosed within blue ring line. Made in The Years QianLong Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty
