Chinese Qing Dynasty Tongzhi Famille Rose Butterfly Porcelain Vase. Potted in vase shape, shallow vessel form, globular body, wide flaring round opening lip, slight tall cylindrical neck, raised with short splayed foot base slight concave. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in yellow base color which contrast against famille rose design color, depicted of hundred butterfly surround the surface. The colors are harmonious, elegant and exquisite, the composition is sophisticated, simply a feast for the eye.The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed red script characters reign mark. Made in The Years TongZhi Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
