Chinese Qing Dynasty Yongzheng Green Glazed Porcelain Garlic Bottle Vase. Potted in garlic bottle vase, bulbous lower belly, thick, with rounded shoulder, long cylindrical neck, with shrink on the neck middle to enlarge onion head shape, with slight short mouth rim, raised on short small round, with slight concaved foot base. Warm and uniform green glaze applied to the surface, only the outer bottom is white glazed. Green is the most important variety of China?s porcelain. Green stands for health, prosperity, and harmony. In Chinese culture, green stands for cleanliness and purity from contamination. The Under base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed red script characters reign mark, enclosed within blue ring line. Made in The Years YongZheng Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
