Queen Anne Carved Walnut and Walnut Veneer Dressing Table, Massachusetts, c. 1740-60, the molded top above a case of long drawer over three short drawers, the center of which is shell-carved, on beaded skirt of flattened arches joining cabriole legs, (top replaced), ht. 31, wd. 33 1/2, dp. 20 1/2 in.
Provenance: Two handwritten labels on the inside of the top drawer indicate that this piece was previously owned by Miss Mary Crowninshield.
