Both front rails likely had descending wooden lobes to obscure chamber pot and have now been removed. Scattered old marks, nicks, surface scratches, tiny losses and repairs, as to be expected with age and use. Abrasions to legs. Loss to tip of return at of rear leg. Abrasion to front center leg at knee. The needlepoint with signs of wear. Appear to retain its original poplar slip seat frame.
