Queen Signed Debut Album
Fully signed copy of Queen’s 1973 debut album, autographed by all four members in 1986, with Brian May signing the cover twice
UK vinyl pressing of Queen’s self-titled 1973 debut album, signed on the front cover in ballpoint by Freddie Mercury, Brian May, Roger Taylor, and John Deacon, with May signing twice. The consignor notes that the signatures were obtained in London in 1986 by a gentleman who met the band. In very good to fine condition, with fair contrast to the May, Taylor, and Deacon signatures against the dark background. The record is included. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Tracks.
Released in 1973, Queen’s debut album introduced the band’s ambitious blend of hard rock, progressive arrangements, and layered vocal harmonies, establishing many of the elements that would define their sound. Although only a modest commercial success upon release, the album laid the foundation for Queen’s rapid ascent, with its follow-up, Queen II, arriving the next year as the band began its transformation into one of the era’s major rock acts. A sought-after, fully signed record representing the start of Queen’s legendary career.
