Robert Walter Winfield, Birmingham English Brass Palace Gas Lamp Art Nouveau Chandelier, C. 1857, Converted To Electricity. Decorated With Art Glass Convolvulus Lily Flowers. R. W. Winfield Was A Patent Holder And Manufacturer Of Plain And Ornamental Cased And Patent Tubes Founded In 1829. He Was Based At Cambridge Street Works In Birmingham, With An Office On Fleet Street, London. His Company Made Everyday Objects But Also Specialized In Pulley Mechanisms For Curtains And Chandeliers. He Exhibited A Version Of This Chandelier At The Great Exhibition 1851. 52 Inches High By 29 Inches In Diameter.
