Letter from prominent Hungarian Rabbi addressed to Mordechai Friedman, a young Talmud student, encouraging him in his Torah studies and apologising for the delay in replying due to obligations to his community and Yeshiva.

Rabbi Calev Feivel Schlesinger was a disciple of the Ksav Sofer, Rabbi Chaim Yosef Polak of Trebitsch and Rabbi Nassan Binyamin Lieber – Rosh Beis Din of Pressburg. Son-in-law of Rabbi Ahron Yosef Shmuel Segal – Rabbi of Trentschin. Rabbi of Tapolcsany from 1872. Author of Toras Bar Nash.
