Rabbi Shalom Kutna was a son of Rabbi Ahron Kutna - Rabbi of Kapuvar, and a son-in-law of Rabbi Yedidya Gottlieb Fischer - Rabbi of Stuhl-Weissenberg. He was a disciple of the Ksav Sofer and of Rabbi Avraham Ullman - Rabbi of Lakenbach. Served as Rabbi of Mohr, Kapuvar and Eisenstadt. Author of Atoras Shalom Ve’emes and other rabbinic works.
Rabbi Eliyahu Menachem Goitein, son of Rabbi Zvi Hirsh - Rabbi of Högyesz and son-in-law of Rabbi Yerachmiel Dov Berish Banet Moreh Tzedek of Lipto-szt-Miklos. Disciple of the Ksav Sofer, Rabbi Yochanan Spitz – Rabbi of Tab and of Rabbi Avraham Paper – Dayan of Tab. Succeeded his father as Rabbi of Högyesz in 1860. Responsa and other rabbinic writings published in Zichron Avos.
