RADIGUET - Civilian live steam boat with vertical bow. Length 60 cm. Brass figurehead representing "the" winged griffin, emblem of the manufacturer. Oscillating motor, horizontal boiler with whistle, valve dome and switch-off lever. Zinc shell, painted in bronze minium and black. One-piece flat mahogany deck. Two wooden masts, brass cap shrouds protruding from the hull wall. Front ventilation corridor bordered by a frieze in gold brass. Candelabra railing. Brass tiller angle adjustment rail. Brass air hoses. Three-blade propeller. Anchor and chain suspended by support (hook-shaped) on the starboard side. Two original sailors are positioned on the deck, they are held in place by a pin (plugged into the deck) passing through metal loops on the sailors. Circa 1895. Perfect state of preservation. Sold as is.
