RAMONITE - c.1940
RAMONITE - c.1940
Original advertising piece in polychrome plaster, in high relief.
Generous size: 40.3 x 31 x 11.3 cm (excluding the smoke). Produced by the “NOVITA” workshops
A fine example—
in excellent condition, entirely original and authentic.
The original polychrome paintwork is perfectly preserved, revealing vivid, well-defined reds, and the piece retains its original, separately attached smoke effect, as well as a beautiful luster.
There are some slight chips in the plaster along the edges, particularly on the roof in the upper left section.
This famous Belgian cleaning product was created in Brussels during the interwar period as a catalytic powder designed to chemically break down soot.
Its visual identity took shape in the 1920s and 1930s through the designs of Belgian poster artist Francis Delamare.
