A portrait bronze figurine depicting the great Renaissance master Raphael by one of the most celebrated French sculptors. Albert-Ernest Carrier-Belleuse (French, 1824-1887) was a founding member of the prestigious Société Nationale des Beaux-Arts. His monumental works can be found all over France and in Major capitals throughout the world. The bronzes he executed prior to 1868 were always signed "Carrier" or "A. Carrier". This portrait bronze figurine is from the estate of a New Jersey sulptor collector. This figurine is signed "A. Carrier 1855". Great condition.
Height: 15 CM x 15 CM x 53 CM.
