RARE AMERICAN CARVED AND PAINTED PINE SCULPTURE OF A BARBER, 19TH CENTURY

The free-standing full-length figure with walrus moustache, wearing a white coat and trousers, gold watch chain and brass buttons.

Height 19 ½ in. by Width 10 in. by Depth 7 ½ in.

Condition Report:
Surface paint worn causing some unevenness. Chip to proper left ear and small chip to right ear. Two holes in each arm near shoulders filled with resin for stabilization. Forefinger and thumb of proper right hand replaced. Both feet are original but were broken and reattached.
