RARE GANDHARAN SCHIST STONE RELIQUARY BOX
Ca. 100 AD. A schist reliquary box featuring a round body with a fitted lid, decorated with a knobbed handle. The box was originally used to store sacred relics, and was often placed in shrines or on altars in temples.
