RARE H&C SURPRISE BAIT
Oscar Hummon & Florian Clarkson applied for a patent for this design in 1913, resulting in this version of the Surprise Minnow with screw eye hook hangers on the belly. In 1914 they assigned the rights to produce it to The Enterprise Mfg Co (Pflueger), who then added Neverfail hangers to the belly. These one-year-only models are extremely scarce, and to find one in Excellent Minus condition like this one, provides a rare opportunity to own one of the best-known examples.
