RARE HIRES ROOT BEER CERAMIC MUG W/ UGLY KID GRAPHIC

A seldom seen and rare version of this Hires Root Beer ceramic mug, featuring the company logo on one side and the ugly kid graphic on the other. This piece is marked "Drink Hires" and "Ridgeway England" maker marked stamped on the bottom. CONDITION: The body of this mug shows crazing and cracking to the underlying gloss throughout. The gloss is all stable and smooth. The ugly kid graphic and Hires Root Beer remain crisp and display well. The handle shows only the lightest amount of wear from use. The bottom of the mug shows three stilt marks from where this piece was fired in the kiln, as well as general crazing to the gloss. A rare and desirable example of this mug.
