Yakan is a name of a Chinese imaginary monstrous creature, but in Japan it was used as another name of a fox. The mask is exclusively used for noh play “Sesshoseki”, in which a monstrous fox disguises itself as a stone and kills people.

•Age: Produced in Heisei Era (平成年代)

•Country of origin: Japan

•Condition: Used, very good condition (This is an aged noh mask. There are some stains / wear-off due to aging.) Please refer to photos for details
